One is deeper(touring) and really mellow when you are off of it.

They are about as loud as one another at WOT, and the Performance is throatier...less ballsy IMO

I voted touring

I also have it.

It makes such a sexy sound.

It'll get louder.

A lot of people who here mine only know it's touring because of the deepness, because I have had it for over a year now and it kicks with some decent sound.

It's no megan catback but if i wanted to be loud I would have decatted it

I was shocked when I saw how the price went up on the GMPP exhausts at CED. I noticed the touring and performance are the same price where as the touring was always priced higher.

I bought the touring . When I did I was told it was designed for people who were going to add header and a downpipe . so it would not be too loud . I have had lots of good comments on the sound of mine , and I personally love the sound . You can drive past and the car is no louder then stock but when you put your foot into it , it turns heads .There is a 2.4 here with the performance exhaust and nothing else and his is much louder then mine even though I have the CA header and dp . My vote is for Touring unless you are looking to be loud .

Awesome input...... this is what i want however i dont plane on doing Headers and DP anytime soon..... but i love the fact it will be nice and mellow for DD and then when you get into her to hear a nice deep note.... Hows the drone on the highway?

any one know how long a dealership or shop will charge for labor time to install?

i just looked up that labor time on GMs service info. for full exhaust it pays 1.0 so no more that that if u wanted to bring it to a dealer, but its really easy to do. i just put mine on today (performance) i was done in like 45 min and i love the sound not too loud at all. i also have the honed manifold i have yet to have put on. i think im gonna hone it a little more not to impressed w/ the way it is it could be much smoother.

If you're going to go that distance, then I recommend "bluing" ie, check the gasket, and exhaust manifold line up. You would be surprised how many gaskets, and manifolds are out of alignment. It is not a big power item, but every little bit helps.

Yeah 2 hours if they are screwing around like morons. It shouldnt take any more than 1 hour. Cut, drop and bolt on. THATS IT.

does anyone have a record of the touring one??? Out of all i have read here i think im liking the touring one.
I had a magnaflow catback with pacesetter header, high flow cat from maganflow and a resonator (about 20") on my 2.4 Z24cavalier and it was loud!!! so i was thinking to do aftermarket and use a borla muffler because i dont want that loud lol.
thank you
