Gmpp exhaust

Ok guys I've got a couple exhaust leaks so its getting to the point where I need to replace it. I'm planning on going s/c in the spring and I think I've made up my mind on a gmpp exhaust. The only one I've been able to find is the exhaust with 2.25" piping from ced. Would this one be alright?

IMO get the magnaflow 2.5" system, Sounds very close to the same, yet it is a much larger pipe size for extra flow.

Well, GMPP used to make 2: Performance and Touring. I think they only make the Performance now.

Either way both were 2.25 in. Think it was just a different muffler they used but piping was the same.

I've been thinking about the magnaflow too, but would I be ok with a 2.25"?

sure, the 2.25" is same as the stock catback but 2.5" would be better for you

Catback won't make you fail inspection. Only a changing the downpipe can have that effect. Catback could just get you a loud exhaust ticket, depending on which one you get and how nice the cops around you are

it will in MA Bluebalt07

it is illegal in MA to alter your exhaust in any way from the factory that will increase noise, hence why i went from a Megan to my GMPP. atleast its a dealer installed part so it should get tossed in court if I ever have an issue, that was my thinking anyway

General Laws: CHAPTER 90, Section 16

"No person shall use a muffler cut-out or by-pass. No person shall operate a motor vehicle on any way which motor vehicle is equipped (1) with a muffler from which the baffle plates, screens or other original internal parts have been removed and not replaced; or (2) with an exhaust system which has been modified in a manner which will amplify or increase the noise emitted by the exhaust."

Yeah i dynoed it when i first bought the car and then after i put the cat back and intake. I love how it sounds. People ask all the time what exhaust is on it all the time and say how nice it sounds inside the car and outside it.
