a good exhaust for an 06 2.4l ?

yeah i was wondering, im interested in getting an exhaust for a 2.4l, i dont want a fart can, something more quiet but piercing to the ear on a high rev, any suggestions? Thanks. Or is the gmp exhaust the only good option?

You could do a custom exhaust, it would sound good and be alot cheaper.

and it doesnt say, but where it ends...is it a straight shot for piping, and muffler to exit the stock location? or will more bends have to be made? ....ocal shops around here do not mandrel bend, just crush bend...

And all of the exhausts listed will be mandrel bent. Im honestly going with the SLP but its not exactly quiet. But its not raspy unless you add a header and go catless.

here is my car, it's very loud. but the muffler hasn't broken in all the way just yet.

i have ZZP midlength with 2.5" catless, deleted the resonator and put 2.5" piping in and had them put on a flowmaster 40 series. the muffler sounds like it's rattling but i'm going to give it another week to break in completely. i just put everything on within the past 2 weeks or so.

Honestly that sounds about right for a flowmaster on a 4 cylinder... Chambered style mufflers rarely sound good on 4 cylinders.

Look at my signature. It's pretty loud but at the same time I get compliments on it left and right. No rasp. And it doesn't sound like most Cobalts out there
