Harness for 2.0L LSJ injectors

So.... I am having a hard time getting my hands on one of these and sure as hell not going to the dealer to get one - they won't budge on pricing and GmPartsdirect doesn't ship to Canada. Any ideas?

I'd say either a dealer (i know what you said) a wrecker or just have to wait till someone gets rid of one...lol

I just really hope you are planning on getting a tune once you get them in...that's the only reason I haven't done it yet...heard that it can screw up a lot without a tune.

Ya a tune is in the future - however; I am curious how many bolt ons our cars can handle before they start to run lean. As for the injectors - I have a line on some. But I have been told a re map should be used.

boltons wont make the 2.4 run to lean but it definetly runs your injector duty cycle close to its' limits.just make sure when you get the harness you get the proper one with the proper parts number, you just can't take one of a wrecked 06',you will find the proper number on page 5 of the injector tune thread

Ok - so if right now I am sticking with an intake with header planned for next year is there any point in me doing this tune right now or should I stick with the PCM tune?

You don't need the Harness from the 2.0L just to be clear. Here's an idea for you that would save you money. Go to a junk yard, and look for a Cavy, sunfire, anything of the sorts, and pull the harness off of a 2001-2004 2.2L

And yes you will need a remap. I actually have a whole new tune to take advantage of all the new abilities with those injectors. $150.00 Canadian is a lot for that piece of junk. If worst comes to worst contact me, and I will do some of the legwork for you.

So a 2.2 ECO harness will work? Those cars are everywhere in the local junkyards!

SO I need the 2.0's injectors and the 2.2 harness...right?

Apparently thats all we need - but, I want to know more about the remap procedures and whether that all is done during the tune.

Yep the 2.2L 2001-2004 harness not a cobalt harness at all.

Just to run the injectors you don't need a CUSTOM tune. That is a simple reflash. It is not all that complicated, although I see a lot of people making these 2.4L's out to be harder to figure out than if Wormholes actually exist and rip hole in the space-time continuum.

Ya - when I looked into having TAG do it, they estimated 600 to tune me.

Adjusted FLow Rate table, for injectors, Modified Spark tables, modified Power enrichment, changed rev limiters, torque management changes, retuned automatic transmission (if applicable), and a lot of other things. I won't go over my exact changes in detail, but that is the general idea.

I read the post about this in the 2.4 performance section and it looks like we need the harness from a Cavi or Sunfire thats running the 2.2 eco just so no one gets one for the Balt or G5.

Psyko, if I get these injectors and harness DOC could do this couldn't he? Hes supose to tune my car at a meet on the 7th I guess I should get these first huh?
