Header for 2.4?

I'm looking into beginning my performance mods on my 2.4l sport. So far i'm getting an Injen CAI, but I would like to get a good header as well. Any recommendations? I don't know a ton about performance wise, which is why I turn to you guys.

Thanks!

Cheap:
Badmab shorty
Most other shorties are of similar design CAv2 design the ZZP shorty is discontinued and was slightly different.

Mid price:
CTI mid length
ZZP mid length (honestly for the money these days id go with the longtube as while their mid length worked well for me it was prone to leaking due to the 2 bolt collect)
expensive:
zzp longtube
ottp longtube

Depends on what you want to spend. Any shorty will fit (minus the JBP they arent worth the metal they are made of)

The zzp longtube is a good deal and they did just drop the price some but will run around 600+ if its catted and shipped. But the overall power gain would be more than a badmab.

Also if you buy a shorty you will only feel a small power bump as a downpipe is still recommended. Make sure to get the right downpipe for your car as there is a difference in length between auto and manual transmission downpipes.

I myself will be upgrading to the zzp longtube some early summer most likely.

This info really helped me out. I think for now I may go with the badmab shorty, and save up for an upgrade in the summer when I get more hours at work. lol

A lot of people have been happy with the badmab. Im running the old style zzp shorty and on the stock downpipe you will feel some gain and get a more aggressive sound at wot. And when you put in a new downpipe that better matches it you will get more power out of the setup. A lot of people like the zzp pipes and I myself am a supporter of them.

So should I go with the badmab shorty and the 2.5' dp like royce mentioned above?

Well when you sell it you're gonna want to go back to stock anyways, so sell it to me now

Man I want a SS/TC sedan soooo bad. Nice spacious car, and definitely would be considered a sleeper.

Agreed! Like Cordia said the Badmab or ZZP LT are really good choices. One is for a smaller budget while the other if you got extra cash to spend. Either one of those would be a excellent choice.

Thats a popular combo.

Im honestly curious though if the zzp 3inch catted to 2.5 catback flange might make a bit more power over the straight 2.5. But im not an exhaust expert.

The badmab and the 2.5 would be fine. I recommend catted because honestly it might only cost 1-2hp and it will help kill off some rasp.
