Angry Help meeee!!!

Ok this has been driving me crazy!!!
First off I drive the NA 2.4 and i want to get new DP header and Cat because i just bought a 2.5" corsa sport catback.

I want to go along the lines of ZZP because of there good reviews and rep.

my problem is that the longtube header package is 3" and i am not sure if that is to wide for the NA engine and also being that i already have a 2.5" catback.

I have also seen on there site that they have a 2.5 DP/Cat. but if i went with that i would have no idea what header to put on that because i honestly have no idea what size primaries ect. to go with.???

Please help me and keep in mind i have inspection coming up so i need to pass that!

Honestly regardless of price would probably go to one of the longtubes.
So either zzp or ottp most likely (no dyno proof yet though)

With that said when i had their midlength on it had a 3 inch to 2.5 catted downpipe and the increase especially uptop was very nice.

My problem is that the badmab header is the same size for the 2.0, 2.2, and the 2.4 which makes no sense. correct me if im wrong about them being the same size.

This 100% stainless steel header is a direct replacement for ALL Chevy Cobalt FWD engines: 2.0L/2.2L/2.4L. This kit includes:

4-1, 1.71 inch, equal length tubing and a 3 inch collector for maximum flow

bad-mab and same thing with CA-V2

Youd be pretty happy with the badmab and zzp catted 2.5 downpipe like he says above.

I not an exhaust expert by any mean and wont pretend to be. I prefer the 3 inch reduced to 2.5 exit catted downpipe, just seems to make more sense to have a smoother transition to me then suddenly going from 3 inch to 2.5

But maybe someone who is more up on exhaust will reply.
But what badmab said will work nicely for you and you would be happy with it!

I ran a 3 inch reduced to 2.5" from zzp (downpipe for the midlength) and it did slightly kill lowend though I still had enough that from a stop I could light up the tires for about 5-10 feet. Not bad for an auto. I do agree a full 3 inch is too much. But I like the idea of a 3 inch to 2.5 inch reduced downpipe considering most headers collectors are 3 inches.

They do still sell that downpipe
