Header/Downpipe

Im a 2.4L auto and have been looking for a header/downpipe for a while...

ZZP doesnt have the 1.5" primaries header in stock and wont for a while so I had a few questions:

1. Does anyone else make a 1.5" primaries header for our cars?

2. Could I get a 1.75" primaries header and its performance be just as good?

Im running the stock downpipe right now with a zzp 1.75 shorty header and yeah I can feel a difference and a difference in sound. Its not as big of a difference as it was with the header and the aftermarket downpipe though.

Clear Image Automotive.
There is SS and mild steel 1.75" in stock.
We have a ball and socket designe between the header and dp that eliminates a gasket that others have to use which can leak or blow out.
It also allows for some adjustment if needed when bolting everything up which no other companies can do.
If the 2 or 3 bolt flange at the end of the header is off, then everything else will be off.

Yes. I had problems with a manual zzp downpipe. It rubbed on the swaybar. This wasnt zzp's fault as they sell an auto downpipe and I had bought a used zzp midlength with a manual downpipe.

how much did you pay? And dont you think the 1.75 primaries are a bit too big for N/A?

Yes they would be I think, plus I asked Dan(the owner) at clearimage what was the best size header to get for my 2.4 and he said get the 1.5 primary so thats what I went with. It definetly added more high end power and low end power. The 1.75 primary might be too much and loose your low end a bit.

Well without a tune running the 1.75 shorty with the stock downpipe im spinning 235's from a stand still for about 4-5 feet with an auto 2.4.... So id say my lowend is still there.

Oh yeah i'm sure it is, I just got what was suggested for me. I'm sure 1.75 is fine also.
