Hi

Regarding the Cobalt 2.4L SS....

The header that fits is the one for the 2.2L or the 2.0L ss/sc ??

also... Is ther any aftermarket Limited Slip Diferential for the 2.4L SS , or where can you get one ?

the 5spd uses the same basic trans as the cavalier/sunfires , and quaffie makes 1

as for the header the company i work for is planing on making 1 , i think some of the others are using the 1's from the 2.0 or the 2.2

Oh man lsd add on? I think you should sell your car and buy one with it factory.. That is an expensive option.

unless you get the lsd from the factory, I say live without it, and invest the money elsewhere. unless you just have an extra 3g to burn, which most don't.

you could spend 300-400 on a phantom grip

but the quaffie is about the best lsd out there , also its stronger then the stock diff

the phantom grip is a add-on into the stock diff , and it just puts pressure on the side gears

soo... you would or would not recomend these ?

also que quaffle is just an insertion to the stock dif, or does it replace most stock parts inside the diff ?

the phantom grips are ok , to me not worth the money

the quaffies replace the whole differental , only part re-used from stock is the final drive gear

worth the money yes and no , they work great (as alot of companies use them - dodge-gm-as well as others) i think they are on the spendy side , but when you compair them to others out there , they are worth the price in gold

i drove a redline with the compitition package(has the quaffie lsd), and it saved me from having to buy a wrecked redline (cause i almost wrecked the 1 i test drove because of the tire slicky shine they put on the tires) the tire rolled over and sliped in a sharp corner , and the car went side ways , and i almost hit the curb , but the quick lift off the gas and quick floor of the gas the car was able to pull it-self back straight

it was almost like i had meant to drift the car in the corner

the quaffies are a gear type lsd and apply power to the wheels differnet than the clutch style lsd's , and the spring and plates

personally i think all cars should have lsd's as optional equipment

so its your choice on which to get , the phantoms do work and alot of people use them , and they are inexpensive

my money would go to getting the quaffie though
