Which headers for 2.4

See I have enough money now but I do not know exactly which headers are good quality or which ones work with the 2.4. Do the ones that say they fit 2.2 work? or 2.0SC? I'm looking on eBay since it is cheaper. Im trying to spend like $400ish or less.

dont go for the gmpp header its still just as bulky as the stock one. not stainless cast iron. for cheaper price id go with the ca header. its a little difficult to install but i have some pointers if your interested. theres a few other good brands the shorty header is best though.

ryan. cobaltaddiction header only 220 with shipping pretty good deal and stainless

ZZP 1 3/4th header with 3" downpipe and 2.5" exit. You'll be VERY happy

The bolt patterns for the 2.0, 2.2, and 2.4 are all the same, so if the description says 2.2 or 2.0 it will fit the 2.4.

For instance, the vibrant setup that I bought only said 2.0, but it bolted right up to my 2.2.

Did you dyno after the header install? Curious what a full exhaust, CAI 2.4L puts down.

so the CA header is really stainless? the downpipe is definatly not. it is already rusting on my car after 5,000 miles or so. it looked like it was just painted silver

would spraypainting it black with high temp rustoleum before intalling it work?
i'm considering buying this part b/c its cheap and gets gains, but if it will rust it should be prevented....

CA is the best buy for they money. Plus, its the only header thats really been dyoned on a 2.4. 8whp increase over stock on the CA website.

But the new ZZP midlength header looks sick!

Also, OBX-R makes a sick looking new header for our cars.....havent really heard anything about it much on the forums yet though. OBX-R is hit or miss though......however, I will say that they've turned their act around a good bit and make much more quality parts now than they used to.

The cobalt addiction is a good header for the price, I just wish the paint on mine did not fade off so quick. So I put the heat sheid back on mine.

exact road I'm going for once I get everything straightened out.. its a good price and it should net like 10-15 or so horse power... that damn good for 500$ considering a CAI gets 5 or so hp for 200-300 bux

It says on there site that you should use the smaller diameter primaries (1.5")on the 2.2 and the 2.4 and the 1.75" on the SC .Are people are running the larger on the 2.4 N/A and getting good gains and no cells.
