I hate it when ppl make a thread of what they are going to do... just wait till you are done the install and have pics ready to go.

It gets everybodys hopes up and then when they click the thread... their hearts and hopes are SMASHED to peices by the lack of text/pictures.

i think that my intake is slightly toucing my hood or at least the heat shield thing will this cause any problem?

 

It probably depends if the intakes putting any pressure on the hood, what part of the intake do you thinks touching? If it's the clamps try rotating them, same could be true if it's the chrome part of the intake.....rotate the chrome part of the intake slightly.

 

thats what i was planning on doing thatnks for the reassurance.

 

It looks so much better under the hood with the stock air box gone.

 

Please let us know what you find, it will help other's when doing a search of this problem.

 

i Think AEM really screwed us on the 2.0 CAI but ur mods look nice man.

 

did you paint the top of the fuse box?

 

yeah and just recently repainted it to get rid of those scratches.

 

adjusted my intake a few days ago im not sure if it helped but eh maybe it did... sorry i know that this isnt much help but from what i have read it is fitted much better than the injen so that makes me feel better about it.
