JBP Cams...are they worth it?

well im thinking about which one i would rather buy.....jbp cams or a gmpp exhaust manifold...now i know the cams will yield more in return power wise...but i want to know how hard it is to install cams...now keep in mind i have no experience right now...but were going to cover that in my auto class here before long and i have a friend who has done a cam install on his spec v.....i dont guess it would be too much different of a procedure than what was...?......does anyone have any pics of the install or anything like that?....i would really appreciate it because i want to study the pics. and get a feel fore it before i get into anything major.........so overall how hard is the install?

***and also if i do this i want to keep my stock cams....so can i go to gmpartsdirect and order blanks for JBP to grind on?....im assuming all the cobalt ecotecs use the same cams...?***....just checked and they say 2.0/2.2 only so i guess not...

Please read this thread in its entirety. I don't think this is something you and your bud can handle on your own:

hell yeah i buy them for my 2.4, for 800 bucks the whole head job and a huge rpm range specially with that hahn turbo. man the possibilities are endless now. sure go for it but i suggest that you send your engine or whatnot to them dont do it yourself i wouldnt.
