Hey guys,

Saw a JET chip for sale in the classifieds section.. Anyone use this? Is it worth the cash? I tried to get HPT done over the summer and it blew out my computer.. lol. I think this is a bit safer.. Would you suggest? And how to install??

the chip installs between the computer and the harness in the engine bay. I had one on my 2.2 it was the Jet stage 2 and when I dynoed it there was about an 18hp gain.

 

How the hell you blow your computer with hp tuner? Using the write entire button to many times?

 

I have no idea. I didn't do it. lol

Ok, so why?

 

get a HPT tune from someone who knows what they're doing. Those chips are a waste of time and money. all the chip does is add a resistor to lean your car out some

 

Jet chip is alright it does work, but since your a auto 2.4 the trifecta tune would be your best bet and its very easy to install I got mine a month ago and luv it.

 

It would be just about good as this chip

 

Cant help but wonder of all the people who posted against the chip how many of them actually used it...
