Exclamation Jet Performance GM Module "Tune"

I ran across a link on the ECOTEC Forum for Jet Performance Products GM Module for 2.4L Cobalts at http://www.jetchip.com/products.asp?...odel=2562#2562

Has anyone on this forum tried a "piggyback" ECU tune? The module runs about $320. The advantage it may have over Vector and HP is its "hardware". you can take it off when you are selling or turning in your car and then recover some of your initial expense by selling the module.

Hey Adam, you done anything to the Eclipse yet? Those Ripps Mod supercharger setups for it are sick. I'm thinkin about trading in my SS next year for a Ralliart Galant. Same motor as your Eclipse GT. If I do, ill def supercharge it with the Ripps Mod vortech kit.

Called Super Exhaust Warehouse yesterday; they said my order was drop shipped from Jet late last Friday and that DHL should deliver today. If weather permits, I'll make some baseline runs / times before I install the module as I do not have access to a dyno .

It Arrived!

Cool Installation

I installed the GM Performance Module today.
1. Open trunk and remove grounding cable from negative terminal of battery.
2. Open hood.
3. Remove plastic cover over ECU.
4. Remove four cables
5. Remove ECU
6. Remove GM Performance Module from carton and sealed bag.
7. Insert GMPM into ECU
8. Reinstall ECU
9. Reattach all four cables
10. Reinstall grounding cable to negative battery terminal
11. Insert ignition key and start.... NO CELs
12. Reinstall ECU cover, close hood
13. Close trunk
14. Test Drive.

Total time: less than 15 minutes including time to take pictures (soon as I load them to the computer)
