Just Ordered My Zex Kit

I just ordered my Zex Nitrous kit. Kit # 82021 with the machine gun purge kit. It should be in on tuesday and will be installed on thursday. I'll try to get some pictures up as soon as it is done. I'm going to mount the bottle right on the back seat. It'll hit with a 55 shot for the first few weeks then i'll jump it up to the 75 shot. I don't want to kill the motor after all. I want to keep the car for a few years..........

Just be careful and start slow, and get a wideband to keep an eye on your a/f ratio...

I went with the zex because they have the whole kit and caboodle. It meter's how much fuel is running through and how much nitrous. It's a wet fogger kit. Everyone i've talked to says zex is the way to go so I figured why not. Thanks for lookin out though....

What do the different types of tips do and why do you want to have a purge kit? Just for the show part of it?

I use my purge kit for 2 reasons, one for show, the other to make sure nothing but pure liquid is entering at the nozzle, it does serve a purpose. Mine is a zex as well, I still recommend the a/f gauge, it (the zex box) can only control the fuel/nitrous mix, not the a/f or degrees kr...it's extra safety your gonna want...

a purge kit releases any air that may have gotten into the nitrous line so that you have a solid shot of nitrous.

a "machine gun" purge kit however is just for show.

Yeah the machine gun is just for fun. But purging has a purpose. I will look into the other parts though. Thank you guy's. Any bit of knowledge is respected and appreciated. Can't wait till all is said and done and I can have some fun.....

i dunno if its wize to mount that thing to the seat...i dont think they are street legal and if you get pulled over by some dick cop..u might be in some bigger trouble than a speeding ticket..i would say the best thing would be to keep it out of sight..but thats just me...let us get some pics when your done

I know nitrous is not legal in most states. There are good fortunes for being a firefighter though. Most...........[U]most[U]...........cops are nice to firefighters. Oh well worth the risk to me. A bottle in the open drops a lot of panties. At least it worked on my bike.
