Well I know most if you are saying injen but I'm still leaning toward k&n since it was specifically made for the 2.4. I haven't heard anything bad about the k&n and I read one thread on here saying that the injens piping isn't the same all the way through. It's smaller at one point. The k&n is 3in all the way through( I think 3in is what it said)

injen CAI / SRI is the best way to go. even if it was made for the 2.2 it will still fit the 2.4 and you have the option to run it either way. best bang for your buck on that one

Agreed, and it was dynoed by someone on this site and he got 12whp from it so it does given proven hp. I have it on my 2.4 and luv it. Plus with it being short ram you can clean the filter easier and you'll never have to worry about about water being sucked up into the engine causing a problem. Get it at turbotech they got it for a good price there.

Well I read another thread of a guy with the injen and he was reading some of his ratios and all the other stuff gauges read( I'm not sure what all it was) but he said he liked the injen other than it made the car feel sluggish in nd range rpms while he had it in cold air. So I'm thinking I'm still going to go with k&n because its made for the 2.4, short RAM, and hav never heard anything bad about it. I know injen goes short RAM and cold air but I would just keep it short RAM at all times b/c it makes more noise and gives more low end unlike cold air gives more high end due to longer piping.

Injen IMO as you have the CHOICE of installing it as a short ram or a cold air setup, and if you want switch it at any time.

We have an amazing price on www.TurboTechRacing.com now on Injen intakes, no discount code needed for this sale.

dammit i bought a 2.5 i think. i have it on a modified gmpp intake. the only reason i like k&n is cause the heat shield. the injen filter i have is blue so it matches my car. i dont want the oiled k&n. i ask if its compatible cause i know the way the intake pipe and heat shield connect uses 4 bolts rather than a coupling. so idk if the filter is made to work with it or what i only seen the k&n in person twice. can anyone with a k&n confirm if filter swapping is possible?

I like my K&N. It had a nice sucking sound when I bought it. But it rubs really bad and had to cut it

ok maybe someone could help me out here, every time I see a pic of an intake manifold, if it bolts to the engine the way I think it does the opening is on the opposite side?? wouldn't this be a problem?

Or does it just change the position of which side the intake goes on??

for example..

TTR..

hahn..
