k&n intake

is there much different between the 2.2 intake and the 2.4 intake from k&n?

I was just talking to ace_cobra about this last night. K&N makes 2 intakes that fit the LE5. One fits the 2.2L as well as the 2.4L. The other one just fits the 2.4L, but I don't know the difference. It's probably in the pipe diameter or length. I just know that they use the same filter in both intake systems.

I am not 100% but I think the tube diameter is the only difference.

so it wouldnt hutotrt to put the 2.2 intake on my car cuz i can get a really good deal on a used 1

its my dd im not to worried about getting major gains out of it i just want a little different sound

depending if the guy still sells it to me ill get the intake and a mrz strut for 250

the 2.4 intake was dyno's to give 14 more hp, where the 2.2 intake is only going to give 6, other than that they are the same(different diameters)

if the pipe diameter is different then id need an adapter to fit to my throttle body then wouldnt i?
