I just had a brand new K&N intake installed over the weekend on my 08 G5 GT and I love it! However it's starting to make squeaking noises when I go full throttle. I heard that it's normal because it's gasping for air but it's starting to get louder.

I took it to an auto shop to have it installed so I don't know what to look for. This is my first car mod so I'm new to all of this.

Help anyone?

 

make sure everything is tight, go over all the bolts again.

 

I have the same intake on my sport, that noise is just the throttle body opening and the air getting sucked in and not having the baffling you hear it now.

 

Ok, that's what I heard but, I was being paraniod with this being my first mod.

 

Yeah mine has that to its normal. I would just check if everything is tight other than that you'll be fine.
