i dont see why you'd want to do that either....lol
all of the heads flow about the same. The only thing i could imagine you wanting to do is give an LSJ or L61 VVT...but that wont really help very much, so the marginal gains are definitely not worth the cost.

guys, he said L61 HEAD on LE5 BLOCK. That would equate to a L61 "stroker" w/o VVT and stronger bottom end. I'm not sure how hard it would be with respect to the hardware, but what would you use to tune it? LSJ pcm/harness? L61 pcm/harness?

All in all, it would surely cost dearly unless you have donor cars lined up...

You could do it... the Ecotec is pretty much swappable on whatever, but you would need a tune to account for the loss of VVT.

the 2.4 is stroked and bored vs the 2.2, and they use a different reluctor wheel (i believe?) so you would need a new PCM to go with it. Mind you, there is almost no gains (much better off just running a full LE5), and it would be cheaper to bore/stroke a L61 than it would be to try and make a hybrid.
