le5 & l61 exhaust manifold?

I am having my turbo header made tomorrow and have run into a perdicament. I need to know what the exact difference is between the two. I have an l61 gasket and want to know how that'll bolt up with the le5 holes. I also need to know what those holes are for.

Thanks

what holes?

please don't tell me youre asking what the exhaust port holes are for...

and as for anytime youre switching manifolds your best bet would be to get the one made for the manifold.

i also know that the L61 manifold gasket was single layer and the LSJ one is dual layer. so maybe the LE5 is different than our L61 gasket?

No not the exhaust holes, I know what those are for. The guy thats making the header called and wanted to find out what all the differences were. He had me thinking and I really dont want to spend $800 on a manifold that might not work as well as it's supposed to. He has a l61 gasket and would go off that, but didnt know if there were what looked to be egr ports or something as him nor have never torn apart an ecotec.

nevermind, I figured out it was SAI on the L61 and thats what the holes are for in the gasket that he has.

then you most likely need to get him a new gasket as the LE5 doesnt have anything pertaining to SAI ports.

it probably would have been easier to figure out had you provided a piktar though :P
