I searched and found that the last time a nitrous thread was up was in Jan. I have been tossing up the idea in my head about a nitrous kit for awhile. I have a 2.4 Auto and I know the auto tranny can handle some good power. Heres what I am looking at:

60-75 wet shot

custom tune

new spark plugs

meth injection? (pro's cons?)

I was told that I would be fine if I sprayed above 3k in any gear (1st would obviously spin like madness, so I'd spray 2nd and 3rd)

If anyone has a N20'd 2.4 Id like to hear what you have to say! Thanks and any info would be appreciated

I'm not really a fan of nitrous, i see more downfall in its use then a benefit. Can anyone that has more experience with it explain how it would actually be a benefit? Verse a problem causer...without youtube videos. I understand that it makes your car faster, but how does it work?

Well, I'm gonna read about it on the nitrous forum. I'm just curious, I'd rather go turbo then nitro.

Hey Xtorted. i'm gonna be heading out to a track near mount morris pretty soon with a friend of mine. We are gonna run his newly turbo charged civic and my car to get some 1/4 mile times.

Thanks for the link, I don't know if I like Notrous though. You always here about bad things happening to people's cars that use it. Maybe that's just mis use.

 

I was told that he puddled and and kaboom. If your careful with it it'd be fine. Its just like improper tuning will destroy your car if its turbo or supercharged etc.

its stock now but i plan to build the hole motor
