Mandrel Exhaust Systems

I was thinking about buying a catback from them (the 2.5 with the magnaflow muffler). Anybody have it? Just looking for some feedback on the exhaust before I buy it.

^what!!! Aluminum does not rust. and exhaust is not aluminum. the madrel bent exhaust may be aluminized piping but its still steel. you want a stainless set up. it will last for 10+ years. you'd be better off finding a custom shop by you to bend it than buying one on here. then you can pick every option and such. good luck

i have it and love it
you need to add a resonator though IMO, otherwise it's very loud (Magnaflow is not quiet in the first place).

The muffler and tip are stainless, and the rest is all aluminized.

It won't rust...... it will over time okay but you will change your car before you catback wears out
Plus let's say you have to change it in 5 years, then buy a new one (much cheaper than buying a stainless steel one for 600 now).

FYI, the sound is crazy. When you compress it sounds like little backfires coming out of the muffler, the rumble is very nice (again, you need a rez; get a vibrant, 18'')

just installed it on my friend car last night, he paid the extra 70 bucks for a magnaflow res to be put on ,and man, the fitment was perfect, they sent all necessary gaskets, bols and clamps, its a clamp on kit, but easily be welded together, and it looks nice
