I am not sure it makes a differnce but if some one thinks it will, speak up.

I have SRI--and am getting ECM done. Likley skip exhaust altoether. I think the ECM will be cheaper and get me more power increase then exhaust will.

Do not get an exhaust cut out...it won't benefit you at all unless you're running forced induction or you have a motor that has a high exhaust velocity (example: V8 motors). It's like having a big exhaust leak, it'll make you lose a ton of backpressure and you'll lose power because of it.

I was under the impression the tune could be made specific to the mods you had done on the car.. Like if you have an intake they tune it to take advantage of the extra air..etc.

With that said, i still dont know if i should put my gmpp header on or get thte CTI header. I wanted to get the gmpp exhaust but i wont have the money.. I wonder if westers will tune the car for free as i get more mods.

This is what I've heard as well.

Thus is why I'm waiting till all my basic bolt-ons are done.

There is no way they can tune your car perfectly or to your specs UNLESS you actually bring your car to them. Even if they've had a test car with the same modifications as you, it doesn't mean that they will both need the same exact tune.

Now if they are doing other things besides changing your fuel consumption, than that's something else but tuning a car to the extra air added to your motor, you're talking about changing your fuel consumption, whether if it's leaning it out or richening it.
