Modding Help

Okay guys, so here's the deal. I'm putting together a list of somethings for my mom to get me for Christmas. I'm looking at somethings such as CAI and whatnot around that price. I'm also looking for some smaller things like appearance mods, like maybe a shorty antenna and stuff like that. I'm looking to see what you guys recommend as far as brands and whatnot. Thanks in advance.

I'm up for any advice anyone is willing to give. I will look into all the stuff you say and whatever I like, I will write down as a possiblity.

Come on guys, anything you guys recommend let me know. Just any little thing that pops into mind. What kind of LED's does anyone recommend? Thought about them as a possibility.

Go to crateenginedepot.com, click on "Cobalt/G5" on the left side of the screen and start making your list of GM/GMPP goodies Then go to the supporting vendors here at CSS.net and continue your list until your Mom goes broke or you get tired of writing

bump for some more ideas. The only thing I really have is some projectors and an ARK shorty. I also thought about some rally stripes? Maybe like a brighter blue color? Anyone have any ideas on where is a good place to get them? Next year I plan on buying some wheels myself but also thought about putting those on there. What are your thoughts on these wheels? My car is black so I'm looking for black wheels.

Shorty antenna is like $5 at pep boys...You could get some custom badges from 24designs.net. Uhmm, intake, if you get one, go K&N all the way. No fitment problems and up there with one of the best on the market.

[edit] my reading of where this thread was located: grade, fail. You shouldn't have fitment problems with any intake on a 2.4.

get the SS/TC front grille, looks awesome and gives a much nicer / higher quality look to the car (also from Crate Engine Depot).

you could also get this VVT emblem and cut off the i (that's what I did)
http://cgi.ebay.ca/VVT-I-VVTI-EMBLEM...1%7C240%3A1318

and purchased the 2.4 emblem from a Saturn dealership

**** buying a shorty antenna you can take your OEM antenna cut that **** to any size you want and put a vacuum cap on it...vac caps at autozone are like 2 bucks, i cut my **** to 4" and it works awesome still...the best place to buy appearence mods is ebay, find the parts you want and soon as you find them go on ebay and look it up and i bet you can find it for 50-100 bucks cheaper...go on CA (cobalt-addiction.com) and order a CF hood!
