What are you trying to accomplish with your car? What kind of power goals are you aiming for?

I'd save my money until I figure that portion out.

Just keep saving and get an exhaust. If not then order a shortshifter.

actually i forgot to add. i mentioned to my dad i wanted the gmpp exhaust so maybe he will be getting me that (he works for gm) anyway im looking for power more than anything. I was thinking the CA headers and then down the road getting the xtc downpipe. Or getting the twm shortshifter. i cant decide!

I recommend not going with so many exhaust mods without more intake, there needs to be some sort of balance between the 2

and exaust and springs are easy as all hell to install.. me and my friend did a back to back spring install, first we did his cavi, took us about 3 hours.. than we did my 06 ls... took us about 45mins to an hour.. than includes the amount of time if took to get my dads cars of the lift and my car on the life..

and exaust took about 20 mins?

i would deff say exaust get some power under your belt

If it were me I would go with the ss/sc injector swap and retune. It's already been proven on the 2.4l w/ one engine mod your car it runs lean, high Injec. duty cycle, and slight knock. Worth the money to save your motor.
I only had my intake on and got these symptoms.

well you should have an alignment done afterwards regardless so at least the cost for that, but most people on here arent going to change the springs themselves is why I said so..

Thank You! Atleast I'm not the only one...

I really don't see the point in requesting parts for him to buy when none of you know what he really wants out of the car. I can suggest parts too but what would that help him. He wants to spend money, not waste money.

haha no need to fight people just a simple question. unfortunately with my dad, any huge projects would be a no. thats why im looking more for things me and my buddies can install in a few hours without my dad having to know about it. And the popular thing ive seen around here is the little add 5 hp here and there type deals. how many people actually have turbos on their balts anyway? nowhere close to the amount of people running headers and exhaust.

More turbo balts are coming.

Personally, I'd just save up my money.

yeah but how many people are putting down the same power of turbos with simple mods like injen intakes? no one. lol.

A week after putting on your injen you'll become bored with the "power" or lack of it

Hey, didn't see anyone else say it - and I didn't before. But Happy Birthday! 18 is awesome.
Whoever said do your homework, definitely do that.. even more so once you figure out what you want to do, prices can vary wildly.
