Motor went finally

Did a couple pulls tonite car started miss firing real bad smelled coolant pulled over coolant gushing out of exhaust gonna pull the head hopefully just a head gasket but I'm guessing a sleeve I'll keep you guys posted

Ha yea pulled the plugs cyl#1 has coolant in it all other are fine pulling the head tomarrow Thinking the head gasket blew or cracked head

Yea if motor is still okay just gonna do head studs springs but if needs motor look out for 500+ whp build

are you sleeving? most of us built 2.2's haven't gone with sleeves but i personally don't need a 400hp daily driver.

Not sure yet either gonna get the zzp motor cus I don't feel like buliding it but idk I'm calling bates tomarrow I'm really hoping zzp will work with me cus I think I've been a good customer and helped sell there products

number 1 **** bates..they screwed up like 3 different blocks in the last few years. Get darton sleeves cause zzp blocks are wayyy expensive for wat it is. I built my entire engine in like 6-8 hours, its not a hard task by any means

oh crap... yeah don't think i'm gonna boost the balt now I can't afford a new engine and or just parts if that happens to me and warranty would be out the window lol

he screwed up my boy phil's built redline engine somethin with the crank sensor gettin chewed up

I'm pretty sure it sucks to time the balance shafts n everything dyevto the vvt but I've never messed with them just was told by a good freind who built his lnf

that sucks man.. but you had a good run on it.. usually blown head gasket = cracked sleeve it might just be best to see if you can pick up a 06 block from somplace for cheap and run that
