Little off topic but for anyone considering the Magnaflow for their 2.4L or 2.0L take my word for it when I say it sounds awesome! Quiet enough at idle but when you guys hit it on the 1/4 it sounded so clean it was unbelievable. Now we just need someone to invest in the setup for their 2.2....

Are you talking about the magnaflow catback or just a magnaflow muffler.

As far as I was aware Marin has the catback...he can correct me if I'm wrong though, I never got a chance to look under the car.

Martin,

Nice meeting you... and great times! Once you get the TNT kit on there you are going to be giving those supercharged boys a scare

Mike.

Thanks man. Lol Im terrified of getting nitrous. Never experienced it and what it takes to maintain it. I also heard there would be a situation tuning it because of the VVT on the 2.4L's

I was pretty scared the first time I tried it too, but Ive largely gotten over that. There are lots of vtec honda guys using nitrous successfully, so I dont see why it would be any different with the VVT on your 2.4. Maintenance is far less than what you would need to do with a aggressive n/a set up or aftermarket forced induction - you just need to check sparkplugs more often. As long as you dont run lean, it you are good to go

Both Rick and I picked up 10 mph on the go-go juice. hehehe.

How is it both you and Rick can make Nitrous sound like such a good idea with no effort at all . It was pretty easy to tell when you guys switched to the spray...especially on Rick's final run...you could almost see the car torque when it kicked!

Hahaha. there was plenty of swearing and wrench throwing happening in our garages when we put them in, so saying "no effort" is a bit of an understatement. But once its set up, there isnt as much tuning and tweaking that you need to do with, say, a turbo set up.

"Set it and forget it!"

Next time you come down to toronto, I'll take you for a spin.

It was done at Tag Racecraft but Im not positive what kind of dyno it was. All i know is I drove up onto a small ramp with two spinny things and floored it in 4th From what everyone says I got an inaccurate reading because my numbers are what I hsould be running stock. I go with my track times, not the dyno. Just thought Id post it for ***** and giggles.
