knowing it's his dd .. the nittos IMO are out.. their dry traction is awesome. there wet traction is scary from what i understand..

i like my star specs alot.. once they're warm they hook pretty well

the 615k are supposed to be great.. i had the original 615 and they were pretty good but i melted through them in like 12k ..

the dz101s my friend has on his bolted/ tuned tc and they dont have **** for traction..

i'd say kdws star specs or 615ks.. more the star specs IMO

2 "budget build" pistons, ported head, cams, valve springs retainers this will clock in around 3k

both options will be followed by turbo upgrade (either bnr k04-2871 or zzp efr )

my goals even with the upgraded turbo will be 400 whp at the most more then likely only 350 whp..

my only hang up on the budget idea is my motor has 86k currently of hard miles.. with 20k being boosted ..

the parts that i have are loaded head.. and valve springs.. need cams and retainers.. then will have it sent out to be ported
**** the headwork, just build the bottom end IMO

Where does the line that connects to BPV come from? A vacuum source?

What about the coolant cross over pipe? Did you have to replace yours with an LNF one?

Plug and play? Do you even know what it looks like? lol

LSJ

LNF

So did you buy any of the parts on your car? Or did you just give someone a bunch of money and say "Go nuts!"?

lol your a funny man.. i've done about 90% of the work on my car.. pretty much everything but clutch and turbo install have been done by myself

i do know exactly what they look like..

sorry you need the coolant crossover and lnf thermostat housing.. then it's a plug and play setup again this is from what i understand.. i did not do the turbo install due to not wanted to **** up something like the coolant lines or oil lines

I am just giving you a hard time. I am trying to find information on the swap for a local guy and I know 3 people who have done. One on a LSJ, one on a LE5 and one on a LAP.

http://www.*******************/forum...ome-work-today.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-2l...thread-206388/

The LNF thermostat housing gives you the return.

The LNF Water Pump cover gives you the supply.

At least what I can see from these pics.

i know the only stock tc lines that didnt work were the oil feed cuz the lnf has a proprietary press in fitting.. and the coolant return line everything else bolted right up
