N/A or Forced Induction Route
N/A or Forced Induction Route
What are some things to do if you plan on staying N/A? and what would need to be done if you decided to go the forced induction route? just wondering what the differences are. sorry for asking so many newbie questions lol
forced induction for the 2.4 isnt out right now (except for NOS but thats dangerous, pointless, and has RICER written all over it) - however, once it comes out the gains will be tremendous (SRT-4s will be left behind!) - the only exception is that its VERY VERY VERY pricey and if someone installs it incorrectly, you can end up with a lot of problems
As for N/A its a much safer route - you can slowly build up your HP through tiny mods - the best idea would be 1st - CAI intake, then exhaust, maybe some headers, then an ECU tune/unichip (either or) - and then you'll be set to beat 90% of cars you come across on the highway

when some forced induction comes out im behind it all the way... but N/A is the way to go for now because most of that stuff u can use when forced induction comes along and have a much stronger and faster car.... the only gay thing is waiting!!! but hopefuly more stuff will start comin out if not i might be movin to the ss/sc!!!
go f/i hahn racecraft should be coming out with a kit shortly and the 2.4 turbo will be a beast, we just need to get rid of the pesky traction control, do do alot of n/a mods if you plan on going turbo, intake may be a loss but it may be able to be kept but we arnt sure yet, header would be a loss, exhaust from corsa or monza would be good n/a and f/i due to its 2.5 inch diameter, intake manifold and throttle bodt would be finr for both and suspension would be a good idea too
