Well Im going to have to remove my lst post... After about 100 miles I can now see a big difference. you feel the change 40 to about 100. the car gets up and goes pretty fast. I also talked with tech support about the throttle position sensor. Aperently when you hit full throttle the milavolts drop making the unit show in backwards. ie: when idleing graph shows 75% and full throttle shows 10-5% kinda sucks. But hey atleast I have a battery gauge now.

On a diffrent note... the places that you tap into is the MAP and Throttle Position sensor. They send a crip conector that allows you to tap into your TPS. Then you have to cut your MAP sensor wire in two and tap two wires into it about 2 inches from the sensor. Then apply constaint 12v and a ground. The direction are very vauge but I figured it out. then I mounted the display on the drivers side with suction cups. I will send some pics tomorrow just bear with me just got dig camera today.

Sorry about my first post this isnt that bad of a product just have to wait for the computer to adjust...

Also you cant adjust anything. except the dim of the light. It is like putting a chip in but now you have a display of your sensors. I asked JET and you cant have a chip and this unit also.

I heard the same but My dyno guys was dragging his feet so I went this route. Im impressed with the jet stuff and I can feel a pretty good gain. I dont know when I can get it dynoed but I want to see. I also installed the B&M shift plus unit tonight and with the three together It makes for a fun responsive fast car to drive...

No they aren't that great of a "flash tune"....they are a great module that you install and can take out if you want.

Make up your own mind...don't listen to hearsay...if you try one and don't like it, post that. So far it's about 98% of people that have tried them like them -- the 2% I list because they are the 2.2 guys that bought one but they have the side-to-side connector ECM that the module doesn't fit on.

if its a 06-07 you have the option of using HPT but the 08 has a different ECM and isn't compatible with HPT. I believe he has a 07 so he could of if he really wanted to.

Don't know anyone with HPT that is interested in, or knowledgable enough about, Cobalts. I'm not going to spend $500-$1000 for HPTuners -- there is not enough info to know what is best for my car without tuning it on a dyno -- to make it worth it either. Although people will call the Jet Chip Module a "Canned tune", basic performance tuning works on all cars so the module works well enough for me -- plus the ECM "learns" as you drive so in reality it works better over time.

PN is 10708 (Stage 1 Module). I'm not going to go through the trouble of taking out my module for a pin shot but I'll post up a factory pin photo/drawing soon.

Far from PA.
If you know someone and trust them enough with something as important as your ECM have at it. Please don't post "I heard" stuff -- cause "I heard" and read about HPtuners gone wrong...but I don't jack up each and every HPTuners thread because I know there are people who are capable Tuners -- and it wouldn't provide Cobalt owners with confidence if I did.
I certainly would tell Cobalt owners not to get the Module if it didn't give anything, but it is a product that works and is available for us who are ECM/PCM illiterate

If you ordered it through JEGS -- they don't keep them in stock, they order them direct from JET Performance. Takes about 10 days. JEGS doesn't charge your credit card till it ships too.....nice!

Well I know have about 300 miles on the module and Mass Air flow sensor and I tell you what the car has alot more power! It is well worth the money and since I installed the B&M shift plus also I love the car even more. The car climbs to 60 mph so fast I catch myself wanting to go faster but dont want to have to pay for the ticket! Yesterday I was getting on the freeway next to a v8 mustang and we were side by side and he was on it pretty good! That was enough to make me a beliver of this jet stuff... I cant see anybody that wont be happy with this stuff expecailly for the money...

Any chance you could post pics of your MAF (intake portion not the wiring )? What are the differences between the JET and the factory sensor that you could see?

Thanks!
