did you just tape everything off?


as for the GMPP vs the K&N the path is smoother on the K&N and the elbow is just rubber. But i like the K&N more b/c it keeps a constant tube size all the way to the TB.

 

no i removed it. you take the coil packs off. unplug the cam sensors, and a few other little clips, unbolt it. and remove. paint and replace. the gasket is reusable. its not hard


what'd it cost ya to chrome it $200??

 

whats the main difference between this intake....and the CAI where the filter is down towards the wheel well, hidden....? just curious

 

I disagree though, you need to look over the pics on the first page again. The Gmpp doesn't have a smooth bend, or flow path like that of the K&N. That "elbow" coming off the TB isn't very well designed with airflow as a concern.

 

I like my injen. Its a SRI right now, i think i might switch it to CAI for the meet on the 26th

 

i have heard good things about Injen but the elbow going into the TB just makes me mad, i mean why pitch it nearly in half?
