Ok I'll add to this thread -- I have the Random Technology 2 3/4" cat-back exhaust from CED. Sounds deep and is rather loud when I get on it. I do not have the capability to record the sound but the Cobalt and Ion owners that have listened to it all like it. I don't believe I lost any power because of the size and I really don't want to get into another cyber-argument about backpressure -- the exhaust sounds good and the car feels nice accelerating.

Why install any aftermarket exhaust...Why install a different exhaust manifold or header...Why tune...why buy an SS when the LS will do...Why?
