oh so tempting

ive been considering finding me a totaled balt/g5 with a 2.4 and building that motor up. hhmm oh the possibilities...i know there was a totaled g5 gt a while back in my area...may have to see if i can find it...hehe...i wonder what theyd charge for an engine like that

lol i was like wtf...haha but seriously if i could find one for a cheap price id buy it...just as soon as i get my clutch.

if i were to get one id upgrade pistons.rods,probably port the head and add all new components in, and then go from there...permitting my stock engine holds up that long...maybe the end of this year if im lucky

anyone know what the block would run?

Definitely not a bad idea, but if you are gonna build it, build it right. Dont cut corners anywhere because you will regret it later on.

Aren't the con rods in the 2.4 forged from the factory? If they are, you probably don't need to upgrade those.....unless you're going for a different stroke for some reason.
