I don't save logs once I'm done with a car. What would a log show you anyhow? You can't log hp and tq.

I have requested the pics twice. Last I was told my business partner had them, and I told him this morning to send them all to me and I will sort through them. Have not recieved them yet. I will have atleast one more 2.4L solstice or sky in Houston to tune too, so hopefully I can get all of those dyno charts on my thumb drive and I can show you ever MORE proof.

To say the least. Not to mention I WAS NOT THE ONE WHO TOOK THE PICTURES. So I can't just plug in MY camera and upload them. The best thing would have been an actual file from the dyno.......but alas we are stuck waiting on digital photos.

I will be up in the Northeast soon. No date or location yet, probably NY though. I think I have to go to Florida first.

Let em know when you will be up, I'd like to hook up for a tune possibly. That's a sick tune, and i would like more powerz in my car. Especially more torque...

Hey slowswap, Stfu

Look at your join date, 9-25-08, you've been on this forum for barely a week, and your wanting to already cause hell? Pyskosteve is a reputable member, he's been on this forum for two years, he's is one of the best pioneers for the LE5 tunes and it's only getting better. And do you not know how to ******* read? He's getting the dyno graphs, HE didn't take the pictures, he's gotta get someone to send it to him, so stfu and wait for it. Don't jsut waltz into a forum acting like you know everything when some people have earned their reputation through actual results.

Wait til steve posts his graphs and you look like a total douche bag

AND HERE IT IS!

This is a RWD Saturn Sky dyno on a Dynodynamics (reads lower numbers than Dynojet by far).

Didn't you see the difference in torque up to 4500rpm's?

that looks quite like a stock dyno run for a sky

But look at the tq differences between the two runs.

Besides, we have no clue what the ambient temps were at the time. He is from AZ after all.

If anything it loses MORE power to the wheels because it's RWD.

Yeah, they have slightly different placement of their coolant hoses and stuff. Not sure how that makes a difference.

That was a tune in Portland on Saturday Sept 27th at about 11am I am sure you can look up the temps. It was cool there, compared to Phoenix.

The bottom lines are the stock dyno run from the sky, the top lines are after tune. Remember it was on a dynodynamics and its RWD so the hp will be lower than what most would expect.

I am the Solstice/Sky national car club's only official tuner. I could spot a stock run better than most people. You can tell the bottom line is stock because you can see the power dip at low rpms and the spike after 4k (which most people think is when "VVT kicks in", but in actuality is always working)

People who don't know Dynodynamics dynos wont know that there is a significant difference between whp number compared to a dynojet, because a dynodynamics actually induces load on the wheels. You floor the car, and the dyno holds you at your rpms, and then releases you and gets a more accurate road reading as compared to a free-spinning dyno. That's whay a 300hp Sti puts out around 215whp, lots of loss through drivertrain and through the AWD dyno.

And the HP difference all the way up to 6k rpms.

The gain in peak torque is not 30ft/lb which is what most people compare. This is more than likely the reason most people are doubting you.

Looks like a gain of about 10ft/lb torque and 8-9hp at peaks.

Yeah when you look through that mess around 5krpms that's about right. If only peak numbers mattered. You know it's what's in the powerband that matters most. And I never claimed peak.

sounded like you where you talking about peak numbers though
The gains under the curve are very nice though

not really have you looked at a sol sky tune unless you knew you where looking at it , its the same

exactly.. i'm sure there are alot of people who have had some great mid range gains on a tune.. but thats not what people generally talk about

Considering you didn't make 30 peak wtq, your claims are not spectacular. Torque under curve and in the lower RPM's is what most people pick up. I wouldn't be going around calling yourself hot **** when almost any tuner can pick up what you did.

Good job, but way to over hype yourself.

Thanks for your criticism. And I think I can still call myself what ever I want.

And torque under the curve matters more than peak.

True. You should claim that you made 30 under the curve instead of just saying that you made 30 tq.

It would be different if I claimed 30 peak wtq. Sure, I gained ~10-11wtq and 9-10whp on a stock rwd car. But the MAJORITY of the torque curve gained roughly 30, and the low end hp picked up dramatically too. Overall it's a really good tune, and the power is delivered right where you spend the majority of your time driving around. That's why it's so beneficial.

This tune was one of my more conservative tunes, and a lot of the cobalts I tune get more than this when I tune them. This was a tune I wrote for a 60+yo man that drives a sky. He just wanted some more oumph and better gas mileage, and the tune delivers.

I hope you and I didn't get off to a bad start with the back and forth disagreements early on.

nice gains. I believe i gained some 20tq below 4k or so 30 is pretty nice. The low end gained on a 2.4 is what i enjoy the most. Makes 2nd pretty fun from 2k on up.

No biggie dude. I wouldn't have argued it if you stated more clearly where you made the gains! My friend picked up huge gains under the curve with bolts on a tune so your's is def believable!!!

Good job!
