Might be worth it if you run on a dragstrip/racecourse. All engines benefit from freer exhaust -- just have to install it behind the second HO2S sensor unless you can tune the sensor out.

ull acually loose TQ on a na car u need some kinda backpressure with justa dump ull basically have none ive dynoed cars with exhaust and then with just a dump and u see about a 10-15 wtq pick with exhaust on then with the dump if u were runnin boost suchas turbo or sc then itd be worth it

You get all the "backpressure" you need through your catalytic converter.
Looks like there aren't too many people on here that have used these on a dragstrip -- I've always gone faster in my cars with open header(s) or a "race ready" like these on the dragstrip. All of them were NA too. You might lose torque in normal operation but when you are WOT it is a whole different story...a WHOLE different story...

idk never ran a car down a track with a cutout but I've seen the numbers. On na's but my buddys lnf with a dump made a big diff I'd say stay with a good header and dp but go with whatcha think iguess but honestly I'll you will notice the diff on tq

no, you don't need some kinda backpressure at all.

question to the op, what are you looking to accomplish with this? is this for track? or just to have for everyday driving? have you ever heard a cobalt running open pipes?

Would be for use at the track. Might open it every once in awhile on the street, would mainly use on the track though.
Ive youtubed some cobalts with it. Only found ss/sc's with it. Didnt sound too bad.
