Hey, guys. New to the forum, and wanted a little advice on something that's been bothering me. I'm currently in the process of buying a 2007 Pontiac G5 GT. Yea, I know, it's a badgineered Cobalt SS, which is exactly why I'm here. I just thought the G5 looked a little nicer. Please don't hurt me!

Anyway, I was curious as to how likely the average aftermarket performance mod for the SS would fit into the GT. Seeing as it's the same mechanics, I'm assuming that most stuff will be compatible, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Obviously cosmetic mods wouldn't work as well, but I'm thinking strictly performance mods here.

Youre performance mods for the 2.4 SS will work on your car fine. Well maybe not the ECU tune

 

Yea, I figured the ECU would need special consideration. Thanks for the info, basically I was trying to figure out if I was going to need to wait for the G5 to gain its own aftermarket following before I could mod it. Thanks!
