I have a 06 SS/NA 2.4L and I just installed my injen sri and my twm short shifter. Great items. But my CEL came on later on in the day. I disconneted my battery for about 5-10 minutes, and that seemed to work for a while. I know it is probably the code p0171. (lean)
Should i take it to the dealer to have intersept the code or will it go away itself after a few days? I have done a search and I have read ALL kinds of answers, use break cleaner to clean the MAS or even use CRC MAS cleaner.
What should I do. Any honest answers would be greatly helpfull

 

After I did all my upgrades I got a CEL. I took it to the dealer, they had to replace a fuel injector and the o2 sensors. I would say dont ignore it, just take it to the dealer, you might be able to get away with warranty work.
