Question Question on spark plug gap and tune

When I was getting tuned I was told to have my plugs gapped to 0.040 but now hahn has recommended 0.030 gap, since I was tuned on the 40 gap, would me changing the gap to 30 cause problems with that change alone? I dont have the $ to get retuned right now.

stock spark plug gap on a 2006 2.4 is 0.042in or 1.06mm this info is coming from the haynes manual...

as for what hahn is telling you if your using their tune and turbo setup i'm sure it will be fine to gap it at 0.030

I'm running a 2.8 and 60's and we gapped mine to .037. it just depends on your setup.

yea, but that's for a stock cobalt.

to the op, just try a few different gaps and see where it runs best. if you're concerned about it.
