Questions about Cooling the Cobalt
I would personally be more interested in keeping the engine temps down. My temps range greatly from 187 on the highway up to 216 on the street. The high end kicks in the fan but i am just concerned with how high the temp is. I know there are products for cooling tranny and oil. but is there a bigger or more efficient radiator for the Cobalt that would reduce engine temp read outs on my DIC?

This has been a huge topic on the forum befreo. If you search around you can find so many old threads about it. Look in the section of your motor type (2.0, 2.2, 2.4).
But if your lazy to look, basically the ecotecs are made to run that high, its not going to harm anything unless your dash puts on a light that says IM OVERHEATING!!!. lol. But for a little added saftey, just throw on your A/C for a few seconds before your about to turn the engine off until the fan comes off, turn the A/C off and wait till the temps drop and then turn off the engine. Won't affect your gas hugely either. I do it all the time so that my engine doesn't stay hot after i turn it off. If you want more info search around or Pm me.

you could just blast the heat. lol. my friends impulse overheats all the time, and he just throws the heat on full blast and cools it right down. i tried it once before when i was running around 206. in like 2-3 min i was down to 183.

yeah because the fans come on when the air lines are under pressure and thats what realy cooles the radiator. turning the heat off after the fans kick on makes the temps drop faster. but the cobalt just naturally run hot like that and is normal.
