LMAO! This is the ultimate test you should give a girl you are interested in!

Q. Do the drapes match the carpet?
Tell her the answer may not be as easy as yes or no.
The correct answer is....what carpet?
If she answers "what carpet" she is a keeper.
If she answers differently in any way, dump her.

Ram Air has no affect on a car until it hits 500+ MPH. It helps yes. But does not build any kind of "boost" until 500+ MPH. Airplanes are the only vehicle that actually take advantage of ram air.

Also, nobody gives a **** because it is WRONG. Ram Air does have an effect. It isn't about "boost" it is about getting more air into the engine. You don't need boost for that. The guy is a moron.

Who the hell do you think you are?

Ram Air effectively creates BOOST at 500+ MPH. (Yes boost as in PSI)

Ram air on a CAR has a similar effect but no where near the level of a jet.
It creates colder more dense air, so you pick up a few horses yes, but not to the effect most people think.

Get your facts straight kid and don't bash on this forum. That will be grounds for banning.

Comments like that are the reason you were banned. Get a life. If you don't have anything nice to say, keep your damn mouth shut!

Hey look, you contradict yourself. It does have an effect, a few horses is still an affect. and like I said, nobody gives a **** about a ******* jet and what happens to it at 500+ mph. this is a Cobalt site. not boeing.com

I'm not wrong. Read up on it if you think so. Or better yet, ask a pilot who fly's a jet. See what they have to say.

I think I'm the guy who's right.

We weren't talking about boost. We were talking about Ram Air and you made an incorrect statement. My moron comment was probably out of line, but oh well.

Look at the Ram Air effect on the later Trans Ams. It was a significant amount to the detriment of aerodynamics.

Finally, don't call me a "kid". I'm older than you by 4 years. I wasn't bashing so I cannot be banned by the rules unless someone else doesn't follow them.

Speaking of stop being an *******...

I made no untrue statements in this whole thread, unlike you. I just happened to point it out.

No hard feelings.

I suggest because the guy ain't interested anymore and so it doesn't get out of hand in here.
