Rear SS/SC TC lip

So is the rear SS/SC TC lip the same as the front? I just give it to the body shop to have painted and bolted on? Or is our rear bumper different at all?

are you asking if the rear tc lip is the same as the front tc lip?

if so no, very different

if your asking about bumpers they are the same except for sedans

I'm bout to buy a rear lip, just wondering if they work with our bumpers like their front lip, or if it won't work with my bumper? No sense in buying it if it won't bolt up to the SS NA rear.

oh so your talking about putting a tc rear lip on your back bumper.

ya you'll just need to have them cut the slits in your bumper, or you can do it. but the rear bumper is the same on all coupes i believe. sedans are different though

Rear bumper on SS/NA is the same as the SC and TC. The bumper is marked on the inside so you know where to cut the slots for the lip. All you have to do is remove the grey grille on the NA bumper and the lip will fit fine. You need to buy clips to hold it on though, and they're not cheap. The bumpers on the LS and LT are not th same, as a point of reference.

Thanks! That's all I needed to know. I need to get both front and rear lips painted so I'll just get the body shop to throw them on.

You'll have to decide if you want them to use the stock clips or fab something up to hold the lips on. I think there's like 26 in total and each one is several bucks so it adds up quickly. I found all this out when I put the lips on my car a few years ago.

Hmm.. So an SS SC/TC rear lower lip from a sedan won't work with my SS NA coupe? If that is the case I better check if these are off a SS coupe or sedan.

Yeah the only sedan to ever come boosted was as a TC I believe only in 2009, and they never put the lip on the back. Others have put the coupe's rear lip on a sedan, but they have to be modified to fit. Any lip you get will be from a coupe.
