im doing the s/c swap on my 2.4 and can the 2.4 throttle body be ok for the s/c or does it half to be the lsj one lmk thanx

 

It works, you might need a spacer or other modification for it to work. I'm pretty sure people have used the 2.4 tb, but then later switched it out with a lsj or ls4 tb.

 

Stock 2.4 tb works fine on my 2.4sc. Just a little less flow than lsj/ls4 tb.

stock tb works, lsj tb works, and ls4 tb works. the last two need some wires switched around but no biggy.

ok i pretty much have almost the whole kit i just need the injector harness , 2.5 pigtail and 2.5 map/intake temp sensor , i need intercooler pump and thats all i got for now soo if anyone wants to help me find these and give prices for me it would help out great

i had to do that for my idler/ tensioner pulley and bracket/ shock which i now dont need

oo also are u just gonna use ur tb or are u using a lsj or ls4 one?

 

im using mine and re wiring it... just easier for now im not looking for max horse here just 240whp and ill be fine with the mods ill have

 

well the sc kit im getting has the stage 2 pulley and injectors and belt

 

ill be running 42's 2.9 stage 2 belt as well as front mount h/e injen cai full exhaust

 

nice thats the same im doing set the exhaust i got zzp header dp combo but i donno wat catback i want yet

 

go custom.. i got all 2.5 with a vibrant ultra quiet resonator and a fart can lol thing is the best sounding exhaust ive heard on any cobalt .. its very odd that the fart can sounds the best

its angled like the ark n2 so it looks nice
