I was talking to a buddy about my exhaust plans last night, and when I mentioned I would have to wait for someone to develop an aftermarket header (not too interested in the GMPP manifold) he asked me why we couldn't just borrow from the SC community?

That got me thinking... The GMPP manifold seems to fit just about every Ecotec engine there is, so they must all share common port spacing and stud locations. And if we have the same stock exhaust as the SC model, then anything that is made for them should work for us as long as there are no clearance issues.

Anything I'm missing? If not, I'll start watching their forum for the latest header developments.

 

I don't think that anyone has tried swapping an actual header... I stuck with the GM manifold b/c I knew it would fit... give it a try.
