Some lame 2.4 auto near stock 0-60 videos 0-100 added

Only mods are Injen short ram intake and jet stage 2 module (10708S)

1st run is stalled in drive TC and ESC off (about 3-5 feet of tire spin)

2nd run is stalled in 1 TC and ESC off (about 3-5 feet of tire spin)

3rd run is at idle in 1 TC and ESC off (about 1-3 feet of tire spin)

yes I was this bored and yes its slow as hell. But I was bored on the way home playing with the new point and shoot digital cam I got for xmas.
Also kind of amusing to note my average fuel economy falling even lower due to the 0-60 runs. Also my fuel average is usually around 26.1 but ive been doing a lot of in town driving lately which is killing me. That and a heavy foot Its slow as hell. Roughly 0-60 in 8 seconds or so. With traction itd be a bit better. The Jet module doesnt help out much for 0-60 but it does help higher up. Sometime I will do some 0-80 and 0-100 runs.

How did you get the t/c and esc off while you were in drive? Did you leave the emergency brake on or something?

For the 08's there's a button you could press. Hold it down for 5 secs and it disables both t/c and esc.

Ouch thats really low. I dont get that low when ive been running it hard. Mines low right now also partially from doing a lot of backroading cruises lately. And I will get around 25-26 normally if I do the normal 50/50 highway city mix that I usually do.

lol I was fairly happy considering im an auto. After looking at youtube videos it seems like im actually doing pretty well 0-60 wise.
With less tire spin id think a 7.5-7.7 to 60 would be possible with the current mods. Which isnt too bad for a 4 cylinder auto.

get a tune sometime...it will allow full power right away instead of gradually letting it in

you dont get full power until around 3k rpm or so...i think

Torque management sucks I have the jet which does help but when I can find a spare ecm tcm and bcm I will definitely do a full tune. But for the 2 mods done I was fairly happy. Also in those videos the tires were spinning some. So thats also why it took off like that. Its just too cold even for a 2.4 auto to hook up.

I have no idea how you guys are getting those low mpg's. When I had my 2.4 I got about 29 mixed driving. I was also full throttling it a lot too.

true and im an auto

Figured why not on the way home tonight.

Ended up with a fair amount of wheel spin as you can kind of see in the video but oh well.
If there were anyone curious how slow a 2.4 auto is well heres your proof!

Esc and Tc off stalled out with about 5-10 ft of wheel spin this time.

yea i was just saying....cause of the HP/TQ difference from the 2.2 to 2.4...

i remember posting on here saying my 2.2 with just CAI was running 16.3's all day long and a few jumped on me and said BS. I know what i ran....and so do a few others on here. Think i was lucky and got a 2.2 that is a factory beast.

i did a quick run tonight gunning it after making a turn and hit sum snow/ice on the road and TC kicked in and still made it to 70 pretty quick...will post the video tomorrow when i transfer it to my comp
