Sparkplugs

Will using SS/SC Spark plugs in my 2.4L on spray work?

If not, does anybody have a park number for colder plugs. I'm running a 50shot on my SS 2.4L and the car boggs at high RPMs.

well, I'm thinking the SS/SC plugs, since the car brings forced induction from factory.

And with any power adder such as turbo, SC, or nitrous... you need colder plugs.

I only have part numbers for 1- and 2- step colder NGK iridium plugs. I thought iridium wasn't suitable for Nitrous use?

You can't use platinums.

What are the part numbers?

These are NGK Iridium IX numbers, for a 2.2L Ecotec J-Body. When I last looked, there were no other heat ranges available for the 2.4L but I found these. Since we run the same stock plugs as the 2.2L Cobalt, which also has the L61, I didn't see any reason why they wouldn't work.

LTR5IX-11 - Stock heat range
LTR6IX-11 - 1 step colder
LTR7IX-11 - 2 steps colder
