I had contacted these guys from speed mafia, they are working on a procharger kit for the 2.4, they will design it for the ion and then the cobalt, link is for what they have done with the 2.2 for the ion...

I've seen a couple vids of the kit they did for the 2.2, seemed promising

that was for an auto 03-04 Ion though, haven't seen anything new about 05+ Ions or Cobalts
