I don't consider dyno's the ultimate in telling me what an engine puts out...when I tried to dyno my 06 LS 2.2 auto we weren't able to keep the tranny in 3rd without it downshifting and upshifting. Plus the way the dyno was done -- get the engine to 2000 RPM and slowly push the throttle to WOT -- isn't how you would run it on a track or off a light (WOT immediately!). HP will ALWAYS be lower on a dyno then what the engine really makes on the road...because on the dyno you are unable to take advantage of the torque converter.
