Stock Head Gasket Thickness???

Hey guys, I don't own a cobalt but I'm building a N/A hybrid this winter using a 2.4 bottom end.

I searched on google and here and I can't find the answer.

Anyone know the stock head gasket thickness?

Thanks in advance guys!

Problem is I don't wanna buy a stock one, I want a thinner one to bump the compression.

I can't believe no one knows this lol

if you mill the surface of your head/motor to clean the surfaces up before you put the new gasket in, you'll gain some compression

Yeah i remember this discussion awhile back.

The cometic head gasket is the way to go if you want to raise compression.
But the bore isn't the same is it?

if you go with the cometic you can order different bore sizes and thickness, but it cost more their only made to order. you can go threw and cometic dealar or zzp for that.
