Supercharged sport?

Can a 2008 sport still be supercharged because of the whole different ecm for 2008 thing? Because I've been thinking about going this route, and want to make sure it can be done on a sport. I don't think a sport has been sc'ed yet, I haven't read about it. But would anyone know if it can?

I'm saying because the 2008 ecm is different and I know there's been issues on tuning a 2008 cobalt. I've asked a member whose local to me if he could tune my balt for now with hpt, and he said he couldn't because I have a 2008 ecm. That's why I ask this cause he said I can't be tuned. And I can't go sc if I can't be tuned.

Also I read that 2.4's can only be boosted like up to 5psi because of the compression. That doesn't really sound like much and doesn't sound like you really get to use the sc to it's full potential. Or is it we don't need a lot of psi cause the compression makes up for it? Sorry kind of a n00b to this, and just trying to gather info. In a way that kind of stinks, cause I'd like to see the boost gauge going all the way up haha. Oh yeah, and why is there no videos of any 2.4 sc's? I wanna see some runs from a 2.4 sc!

Oh well I dunno then I gotta find someone locally that might not be easy since there's only really one well known tuner in my area. Would I be able to have a local shop install and tune for me if I can't find a tuner?

you could also go with trifecta performance.. where are you from .. saying usa isn't really discriptive lol.. and also 5 psi from the 2.4 because of the CR LAWLZ... maybe 5 PSI off a GT 45 lol

but i'm running 7-8 psi on my setup and there are many people running boost on here the only 2.4 i know of thats popped their motor from boost is boostedg5 but he popped after doing back to back 150 mph runs lol soo if there's a flaw in the tune yo'll find out then lol

Hmm my best bet is probably to go with trifecta then. I live in NYC. The only tuner I know of is 06blackg85ss and he only has HPT. I don't want a blown motor from too much boost though

Well I'm not posting publicly where I live, but it might be a while before I go SC. I don't have the $$ right now. Besides I'm hoping that by the time I save up and get all the parts I need, my warranty will be half or almost done so it kind of works out. But it's definitely something I'm thinking about doing. Would you be able to install and tune me when the time comes?
