throttle body question

on mrzperformance.com they have a 60 mm throttle body for the 2.2 ecotec this should fit the 2.4 too, right?

The bolt patteren on the 2.4 TB is differnt then the 2.2 Plus the 2.4 throttle body is already quite large. Noticably larger then the 2.2's

On our 2.4's not really that much. It will just make the throttle feel crisp and more responsive. After have mine ported and polished it made it nice but not a huge difference.

If the 2.4 TB is bigger than the 2.2 TB you may have just hit upon the newest performance mod for the 2.2

You may run into idle problems unless the PCM is modified, mainly because the electronic throttle takes over the job of the idle air. If the car ran into limp mode for any reason it probably wouldn't run at all.

so ur saying if the 2.2l guys throw on the larger throttle body we would have to do tuning of some sort? or is it a plug and play sorta thing?

Considering that everything on the engine is controlled by computer you're probably right -- even if you sneeze the idle compensates but We have to try.....
