Traction Control
There was another thread on this in the problems and service forum. I have had the same problem forever. According to the other thread I think there was a bulletin on the issue. It said that it was caused by oil from the filter on aftermarket intakes. I had the weapon r intake and I switched to the K & N and ever since it happens more frequently so I'm guessing that that is it.
Dryflow filter so I doubt its oil on the MAF, T/C light and hard shift is indicative of the car going into the LIMP HOME MODE which is usually caused by unregulated air entering the intake system AFTER the MAF. Check for loose connections on the intake between the MAF and the throttle body, also make sure the MAF is still connected or the filter is not loose allowing in dirty air thous putting trash in the MAF. This problem has been discussed many times before....
